jetBlue offers discount on its tickets and allows special baggage allowance to US military personnel and their dependents.

For Military personnel on active duty and their dependents, there is a need for presenting the military orders and DOD Common Access Card for identity verification. Each such personnel and dependent is allowed to check in 5 check in bags free of cost. Those who are travelling for leisure with or without their dependents are allowed 2 check-in bags free of cost. These provisions apply for both the domestic and international flights of JetBlue.

For passengers enrolled in JetBlue Veteran Advantage program, there is discount of 5% on ticket booking and 2 check-in baggage allowance free of cost. The military discount of 5% is also applied on base fares under the MIL (military fare choice).
